Pastor Phillip Kundeni Chidavaenzi
Pastor Phillip Kundeni Chidavaenzi is the Presiding Bishop of Power Centre-Zimbabwe, a growing Church founded in South Africa by Apostle Duncan Manyonda.
Affectionately known as Rabbi Phil on the strength of his strong apostolic teaching ministry, specialising in doctrine, Bishop Phil is the founder and principal of Epignosis Theological School.
An award-winning author and veteran journalist, he is the co-director and Editor-in-Chief of Royalty Books. With over 20 years' experience in the mainstream media industry in Zimbabwe. He has published six novels and and six Christian texts. Pastor Phil is a holder of a National Arts Merit Award (NAMA) for his first novel, The Haunted Trail (2007), in the Outstanding First Published Creative Work category. The book also won the then Longman Zimbabwe an award at the Zimbabwe Book Publishers Awards in the same year.
In 2021, Pastor Phil was awarded Publishing Mentor of the Year award on the basis of the work he has been doing with the Writers Clinic and Royalty Books, and this was followed by the Publisher of the Year award, courtesy of the Blackbelt Human Capital Institute. Pastor Phil also scooped three awards at the Phoenix Publishing Book Awards in 2022.
